About the faculty:
The Faculty of Landscape and Society is an interdisciplinary faculty working with national and global sustainable development. We house some of Norway's leading academic environments within public health science, international environment and development studies, urban and regional planning, landscape architecture, landscape engineering, and property development. The Faculty has 1300 students and 180 staff spread across five departments and an administration. We offer popular, future-focused Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees with an emphasis on practice-based learning, including internships, collaboration with industry, field courses and field work both in Norway and abroad.
The Faculty of Landscape and Society provides education and research focused on sustainable development in its various forms. We use both natural and social science perspectives to focus on international and Norwegian issues. The Faculty offers some of Norway's leading academic environments within its fields.
