About the faculty:

The Faculty of Landscape and Society brings together leading academic environments in planning, landscape studies, property studies, public health science, international relations, and international environment and development studies. We develop knowledge for sustainable societal development at national and global levels.

The faculty has approximately 1,300 students and 180 staff members, organised across five departments.

  The Faculty of Landscape and Society provides education and research focused on sustainable development in its various forms. We use both natural and social science perspectives to focus on international and Norwegian issues. The Faculty offers some of Norway's leading academic environments within its fields.
