This it the title of the open lecture to be kept by the Director General at The International Center for Maize and Wheat Improvement (CIMMYT), Thomas A. Lumpkin on February 3rd from 13.15-14.30.

The open lecture will be kept at Campus Ås SKP (Senter for klimaregulert planteforskning).

The Norwegian University of Lice Sciences (NMBU) and CIMMYT both engage in programs of research and training related to global food security. They have collaborated for this purpose since 1969 through a mutual agreement of cooperation between the two institutions. On February 3rd this agreement of cooperation will be renewed.
