The Centre for Advanced Study (CAS) at the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters is a basic research institution devoted to ensuring that outstanding, innovative researchers get the resources they need to make further scientific advances.

This year UMB, for the first time, succeeded and was selected to be one of the three parallel research groups with the research project “The Ecology of Food Perception”.

On October 15th two seminars will be discussing the correlation between food, gut and health.

Day seminar: Is it wise or unwise to tamper with your gut bacteria?
“Tampering with you gut bacteria: really smart or really frightening?” is the subject for the Day seminar from 12.30 to 17.30.

“The right food for the right gut bacteria: staying healthy, hearty and slim” is the subject for the evening seminar from 18.00 to 19.30.
