Tchello is a doctoral candidate at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). He completed his master’s degree in education from Yogyakarta State University, Indonesia, and another master's degree in humanitarian studies from Kalu Institute, Spain. Now he is a research associate at the Center for Analysis on Governance and Security in the Sahel (CAGS–ONG EVEIL) focusing on conflict in central Mali. Tchello has research interest in conflict prevention and resolution, violent extremism in central Mali, education, humanitarian aid, and political ecology.
