From 2023 to 2025, I worked as a researcher at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), contributing to the "FeNomen" and "NaNoHorse" projects. In these projects, I focused on genetic diversity in native Nordic horse breeds. My research involved using genetic analyses, including whole-genome sequencing and bioinformatic methods, to investigate the genetic factors influencing reproductive success and fertility in these critically endangered breeds.

Starting in 2025, I began my PhD within the "FeNomen" project. My doctoral research will explore the genetic underpinnings of fertility in Norwegian Fjord horses, with a particular emphasis on understanding the effects of inbreeding, identifying lethal recessive mutations, and examining other genetic factors that may influence reproductive outcomes.
