My main research interests are focused on Conservation Biology, applying ecological and behavioral studies to the preservation of wildlife and mitigation of human-wildlife conflicts.

As part of BatLab Norway at NMBU, I’m investigating the interaction between bat species and wind turbines, studying how abiotic conditions, prey availability and migration routes can influence the presence and activities of these amazing mammals inside wind parks, with Rogaland county as study area.

I have previous experience working with bats in Germany, as an intern at Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research, and Italy, as a volunteer in rescue centers. I’m a member of the Italian Theriological Association and its Italian Chiroptera Research Group (GIRC).

I have a MSc in Environmental and Behavioral Biology from Università di Firenze, with a thesis centered on wolves rescue practices in Italy.
