My main employer is the Norwegian Meat and Poultry Research Centre (Animalia). At Animalia, my main occupation is data analysis, and in particular image analysis of CT-scanned pig boars for the pig breeding company Norsvin. These analyses provide phenotypes which are used as input data for Norsvin's breeding program. In my daily work I also meet many other problems involving data analysis in different forms, so a general knowledge of applied statistics is important.
