
I am an applied economist with research interests within agricultural, experimental and health economics. Much of my research are related to consumer behavior and demand for food and food attributes. I also do production-oriented and interdisciplinary research. Some recent research projects have been related to: (i) Sales forecasts for foods and beverages; (ii) economic, demographic, personality and attitudinal effects on food and beverage consumption; (iii) nutrition, health and public policies related to consumption of food and beverages; (iv) aquaculture and fisheries economics; (v) animal breeding and production costs, (vi) environmental economics, and (vii) sustainable food consumption.
