Käthe Kittelsen (DVM, PhD, Dipl. ECPVS) is an experienced poultry researcher with a strong focus on animal health and welfare across various poultry species. She has led and contributed to numerous research projects within the poultry sector and is the first veterinarian in Norway to obtain the prestigious Dipl. ECPVS qualification.
Dr. Kittelsen is actively involved in veterinary education, teaching both general and specialized aspects of poultry medicine. Her academic responsibilities include lecturing on poultry diseases, pathology, and diagnostic methods, as well as supervising students during farm visits and providing training in poultry welfare assessment
