Henning Andreas Haga underviser i veterinær anestesiologi for både veterinær- og dyrepleierstudenter. Undervisningen foregår i form av forelesninger, praktiske læringsverksted og i Veterinærhøgskolen sitt dyresykehus. I tillegg underviser han også på etterutdanningskurs for veterinærer og dyrepleiere.
Henning Andreas Haga ble utdannet som veterinær fra Norges veterinærhøgskole i 1995, jobbet to år i blandet veterinær praksis og startet på et doktorgradsprosjekt innen anestesiologi i 1997. I 2001 disputerte han for graden PhD, og ble i 2011 ferdig utdannet som Europeisk spesialist i veterinær anestesi og analgesi, DiplECVAA. I dag jobber han med klinisk virksomhet, undervisning, etterutdanning, forskning og formidling knyttet til anestesiologi i hovedsak på huspattedyr. Haga sitt forskningsfokus har vært intra- og postoperativ smertebehandling.
