My research project aims to develop a model that can produce environmentally, socially and economically optimal solutions for the use of nature- based solutions in urban water management. This project will explore the optimization methods used in relevant studies, develop methodologies for quantification of benefits of nature-based solutions, and ultimately develop a simulation-optimization model that will encompass social, environmental, as well as economical aspects.
