PhD degree – Trial Lecture and Public Defence: Ross Wetherbee, Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Natural Resource Management (MINA), will defend his PhD thesis "Veteran oaks, biodiversity and ecosystem functioning in southern Norway" on 28 May 2021. 

English title of the thesis: 

"Veteran oaks, biodiversity and ecosystem functioning in southern Norway"

Norwegian title of the thesis: 

"Biologisk mangfold og økosystemfunksjoner i gamle eiker"

Prescribed subject of the trial lecture: 

“The importance of biodiversity and community assembly for ecosystem function”

Time and place for the trial lecture and the public defence: 

Friday 28 May, 2021, at 12.15. 

This public defense will be held partly in digital form since physical presence is hindered as a result of the Corona situation. The disputation can be attended by using the following link in Zoom: https://nmbu.zoom.us/j/64116987394

The chair of the defence will evaluate whether your question is opportune, and you will be given the word after the two opponents have concluded.
