PhD degree – Trial Lecture and Public Defence Paal Brevik Wangsness, School of Economics and Business (HH), will defend his PhD thesis "Economics and policies for the electrification of transport" on 8 September 2020.

Norwegian title of thesis:
“Elbilpolitikk fra et samfunnsøkonomisk perspektiv”

Prescribed subject of the trial lecture:
"On the consistency of environmental regulation: Are CO2 standards for road transport too strict?"

Time and place for the trial lecture and the public defence:

This public defense will be held digitally since physical presence must be limited due to Covid-19. All are welcome to witness the digital defense, but please read and abide by the guidelines stated below. This is required for the defense to run without interruptions and noise.

Guidelines for attending the defense via Zoom:

  • If anyone wishes to oppose Ex Auditorio, please ask your question in the chat before the first opponent ends his opposition.
  • Testing of your own equipment is advised before attending.
