Ida Marielle Mienna, Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Natural Resource Management (MINA), will defend her PhD thesis “The role of biotic and abiotic factors on treeline ecotone dynamics: studies using field observations and remote sensing”, Friday the 3rd June 2022.

Norwegian title of the thesis:

"Biotiske og abiotiske faktorers rolle for dynamikk i tregrenseøkotonen: studier basert på feltobservasjoner og fjernmåling." 

Prescribed subject of the trial lecture:

"Understanding Arctic greening and browning" 

Time and place for the trial lecture and the public defence:

Friday, 3 June 2022, 14:15 at Festsalen, Clock Building
