In their lecture, Keith Goulding and Frank Brentrup will share their views on how sustainable agriculture should be developed.

Keith Goulding
"Nutrient Use Efficiency in Light of Global Food Security"
Biography: Keith Goulding joined Rothamsted Research, the oldest agricultural
research institute in the world, in 1974 and worked there for 42 years. He holds
an emeritus position as the Sustainable Soils Research Fellow. His research has
included plant nutrition, acid rain and climate change.
Frank Brentrup
"Nitrogen Use Efficiency: A Key to Sustainable Agriculture"
Biography: Frank Brentrup is R&D Lead for Sustainability & Strategic Research
at Yara’s Research Centre Hanninghof in Germany. His leads a team of scientists
focusing on sustainability aspects of crop nutrition and mineral fertilizer in
particular. Frank has a background in agricultural life-cycle assessment and plant
nutrition and holds a PhD in agricultural sciences from the University of Hanover
