Research stay abroad (Course code: VET433)
NMBU Faculty of Veterinary Medicine recommends that you take a research visit abroad during the doctorate period. An international stay gives you the opportunity to build and establish international networks and research collaboration early in your career, and you will get new exciting impulses both professionally and personally.
To increase the likelihood that your stay will be professionally useful and relevant, you should select the relevant research environment carefully in cooperation with your supervisor, and preferably at an institution where NMBU has already established cooperation. You will have to seek funding for your stay yourself.
The NMBU Faculty of Veterinary Medicine awards 1.5 credits for study stays of at least 2 weeks duration. In total, you can get a maximum of 3 credits for research stays abroad.
Practical information about international stays can be found at the EURAXESS Research Mobility Portal
