New international students at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences are invited to welcome/introduction meetings and events their first couple of days on Campus.

Introduction

The primary goal of these meetings and events is to assist new students getting ready for their studies at NMBU and introduce them to the student life.

The program of the welcome/introduction meetings and events varies, depending on which semester we are in. When the updated program is ready, it will be posted on this page.

8-30 January: January block

30 January: Introduction meeting for new international students arriving for the Spring parallel

31 January: Semester start spring parallel

Budget and Cost of Living

Norway is an expensive country and it takes a while getting used to the high cost of living. To give you an idea of the living expenses for a student in Norway, we have put together a modest budget for one semester (all numbers are approximate):
