Upload a scanned copy of your official diploma. You must do this even if you apply for a master's programme, unless you are registered with "generell studiekompetanse" in Samordna opptak.

Applicants educated in the Philippines and USA must also order transcripts sent directly from their school to NMBU, if applying for a bachelor programme

Upload a scanned copy of your official transcript of records.
Results completed at Norwegian universities need not be uploaded. Please check «my results» in the application portal.

Recommendation letters, documentation of job experience and non-academic courses will not be considered in the application process.

Courses to be completed

Are you completing your degree/relevant courses in the same semester as the application deadline? Please upload the following:

  • A list of the courses you are registered for this semester with the expected date for completion. You still have to document your higher education completed to date, as described under the header «higher education». If you complete your studies next year, you are not eligible to apply now.
  • Final transcript and diploma. If you have not received your diploma yet, you must upload a confirmation from your educational institution stating that you have obtained a degree.

Translations

Documents of higher education must be translated into English or Norwegian by an officially approved translator, unless issued in English. The original transcript and diploma must accompany the translation.

Documentation of language proficiency

Documentation of English language proficiency must be documented by an internationally recognized English language proficiency test.

You should not submit reference letters or a CV.

Portfolio

Applicants to the Norwegian taught programme Landskapsarkitektur with only grades passed/not passed in their transcript. Max size of upload is 15 MB.

 Please note:

  • You are responsible for uploading all required documentation, as well as ensuring that it is uploaded within the given deadline. As it may take several weeks for institutions and test centres to provide transcripts and/or test scores, please arrange for these documents to be issued as soon as possible.
  • You are liable for the uploaded documents, i.e. that they represent true and unaltered information.
  • A random selection of students will be asked to present original documents. Students that do not, may have their right to study withdrawn.
  • Please note that we maintain the right to contact institutions, firms, associations and government agencies for the purpose of explanation and/or verification of uploaded documents.
