Are you interested in working as a Writing Advisor?

NMBU’s Writing Centre continually looks for new students to work as Writing Advisors. Writing Advisor not only help peers with academic writing through feedback – both on-line and face-to-face – they also develop their own writing and research skills.

Employment

We are currently recruiting Writing Advisors that can assist in Norwegian, or English, or ideally both languages. Training is provided. Writing Advisors typically staff the Writing Centre three to eight hours a week, in addition to three hours of grading and attending one-hour weekly staff meetings. Potential candidates must be NMBU students and should have:

-          Good communication skills.

-          Experience in academic writing.

-          High level written English and/or Norwegian language

-          High academic performance

-          Desire to help others develop their scholastic skills

-          Preferably, passed EDS275 or LNG240, or completed another academic
           writing course.

           (term paper or part of thesis).
