The Nordic Forestry, Veterinary and Agricultural University Network (NOVA), is a university cooperation aimed at supporting the understanding of major global challenges in a Nordic context. Together we provide high quality, international level education for PhD and Master’s students by financing Nordic collaborative postgraduate courses and other projects.

NOVA PhD Course "Chemical and Genomic Insight to Host-Microbe Symbiotic Interactions" - Extended Deadline (22 Jan. 2016)
The course will take place on 23-27 May 2016, in Copenhagen, Denmark. New application deadline: 15 March 2016.

NOVA PhD Course "Plant-Associated Bacteria: Pathogens and Mutualists" - Open for Applications (19 Jan. 2016)
The course will take place on 23-27 May 2016, in Mikkeli, Finland. Application period: 20 January - 1 March 2016.

NOVA Open Call 2016 (5 Jan. 2016)
In 2016, there will be three application deadlines for grant applications for PhD courses, Master's courses exceeding EUR 5 000 and for course series. NB! Applications are approved by the NOVA Board three times a year. Courses approved in the March meeting in 2016 can be implemented in the autumn 2016 or in 2017. Courses approved in later board meetings in 2016 can run in 2017.

NOVA Board approved new NOVA Courses for 2016 (23 Dec. 2015)
The NOVA Board approved two new PhD courses for 2016 and one Master's course series for 2016-2018 at the board meeting on 10 December 2015.

NOVA PhD Course "Novel Ingredients - Processed for Novel Nutrition" - Open for Applications (18 Dec. 2015)
The course will take place on 9-13 May 2016 at Aas, Norway. Application deadline: 9 February 2015.

NOVA PhD Course "Decision Oriented Data Acquisition Strategies for Analysis of Sustainable Forestry" - Open for Applications (18 Dec. 2015)
The course will take place on 23-27 May 2016, in Aas, Norway. Application deadline: 23 February 2016.
