Aarhus University

NMBU has an agreement with Faculty of Science and Technology at Aarhus University. The faculty has several departments in Jylland, Fyn and Sjælland. The faculty has the world's largest biogas plant for research. Aarhus is Denmark's second largest city, and the population has a large share of students. Aarhus houses many small and large festivals, the largest are Aarhus Festival, Aarhus Jazz Festival, Green Concert and Open by Night in Aarhus. Kapsejlads is one of Scandinavias largest student festivals and is a must for all students.

About the agreement
The agreement is part of Nordplus and covers courses in natural sciences/chemistry/mathematics/physics, environmental science, biology, food science, agriculture, engineering and animal science.

Who can apply
All Nordplus students must complete 60 credits before the exchange semester starts.

Language of teaching
Mainly Danish at bachelor level and English at master level.

Semester duration
Autumn semester: September - January.
Spring semester: February - June.

Tution fees
Nordplus students must register and pay the semester fee at NMBU whilst on exchange, but do not pay any tuition fees at the partner university.

Science is a part of NOVA (The Nordic Forestry, Veterinary and Agricultural University Network) that NMBU also is a part of. NOVA arranges intensive courses at Master and PhD-level in different areas of study.
