About the agreement
The agreement only applies for subjects at the Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences (bachelor courses) and the Department of International Politics (master courses).
Who can apply
For all Erasmus agreements it is necessary to have attained 60 credits on your current NMBU program before commencing on an exchange study abroad.
Number of study places
One student for one semester at the Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences, and two students for one semester at the Department of International Politics (the latter is only for students on the M-IR program, and it is a bilateral agreement).
Language of teaching
English.
Semester timing
Autumn semester: end of September – end of January.
Spring semester: end of January – start of June.
Tuition fees
Exchange students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.
Accommodation
The university offers student rooms for exchange students, but it is wise to apply early.
Credits
10 credits at Aberystwyth are equivalent to 5 NMBU credits.
