Zurich University of Applied Sciences is one of the leading universities within Applied Sciences in Switzerland. The university has several campuses, and NMBU has an agreement with the School of Life Science and Facility Management on Waedenswil Campus in the outskirts of Zurich. Zurich is a renowned university city in scenic surroundings by the Zurich lake.

The agreement applies for Life Sciences and Facility Management.

Who can apply
For all Erasmus agreements it is necessary to have attained 60 credits on your current NMBU program before commencing on an exchange study abroad.

Number of study places
Three places per semester.

Language of teaching
English and German.

Semester Timing
Autumn semester: September - January.

Spring semester: February - June.

Tuition Fees
Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university. 

 

Note: Although Switzerland is not part of the ordinary Erasmus program, they offer another scholarship for exchange students. You automatically apply for this scholarship when you apply for exchange to a higher education institution in Switzerland. The scholarship is offered by the Swiss-European Mobility Programme. The scholarship (380 CHF/3120 NOK per month) is usually awarded to all applicants.
