Hohenheim is a district in the outskirts of Stuttgart, the capital of the German state Baden-Württemberg. Universität Hohenheim and NMBU have many similarities and overlapping academic fields. It is an international university with 9500 students, of which 15% international students from nearly 100 different countries. The University presents itself as an important contributor to sustainable economic, agricultural and social development at both global and local levels, by facilitating interdisciplinary cooperation between the various faculties and academic centers in Hohenheim. The University is located ten minutes away from Stuttgart.

About the agreement
The agreement covers agricultural subjects, agroecology, biology, plant sciences, food technology and economics.

Who can apply
For all Erasmus agreements it is necessary to have attained 60 credits on your current NMBU program before commencing on an exchange study abroad.

Number of study places
Three.

Language of teaching
English and German.

Semester timing
Autumn semester: October – March.
Spring semester: April - September.

Tuition fees
Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.

Accommodation
The university cannot guarantee accommodation for all exchange students.
