Dresden is the capital of the German state Saxony, and was considered one of the most beautiful cities in Europe until the Second World War. The city lies on both sides of the river Elbe, southeast in the country. Dresden University of Technology is among Germany's ten largest universities with 35.000 students. It is also one of the oldest technical universities in the nation.

Who can apply
For all Erasmus agreements it is necessary to have attained 60 credits on your current NMBU program before commencing on an exchange study abroad.

Number of study places
One student for one year.

Language of teaching

Semester timing
Autumn semester: October – March.
Spring semester: April - September.

Tuition Fees
Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.
