One master degree student at the Faculty of Science and Technology has tested positive for Coronavirus. The student is not acutely ill and had been in home quarantine for one week before testing positive. The student is still in quarantine.
There is still a low risk for infection if the preventative measures recommended by the Norwegian Institute of Public Health are followed. Students can continue attending classes as usual.
Waffle Thursday is a weekly event at SIT where students are welcome to talk about exchange, get CVs reviewed by the career councellor, practice a language, just hang out, meet other students and eat waffles. Each Waffle Thursday usually begins with a short presentation on a topic relevant for students.
