NMBU has closed both campuses following orders from the government. We now use new digital teaching methods, because teaching that takes place physically on both campuses is suspended until April 14.

One student at REALTEK has tested positive for Coronavirus

One master degree student at the Faculty of Science and Technology has tested positive for Coronavirus. The student is not acutely ill and had been in home quarantine for one week before testing positive. The student is still in quarantine.

What can you as a student do to prevent infection?

There is still a low risk for infection if the preventative measures recommended by the Norwegian Institute of Public Health are followed. Students can continue attending classes as usual.

You must change password!

All students and employees at NMBU must change passwords every year - it is mandatory. Those who have set or changed their password after 1 of July do not have to change now. Passwords must be changed within the 1 november 2019.

Waffle Thursday

Waffle Thursday is a weekly event at SIT where students are welcome to talk about exchange, get CVs reviewed by the career councellor, practice a language, just hang out, meet other students and eat waffles. Each Waffle Thursday usually begins with a short presentation on a topic relevant for students.

If you are registered in an examination you do not intend to take, you will need to withdraw yourself by 1st November.
