SFF: Centre of Excellence
- NMBU offers central funds for application development (up to appx. 100 000 NOK), to be used for external consultants, workshops, buy-out of time spent with application, etc.
- Applications to the Centre of Excellence (SFF) must be approved by the Rector prior to submission.
- In the event of acceptance of a coordinator project, NMBU offers 1.4 MNOK per annum in cash.
- In the event of acceptance of a coordinator project, NMBU offers two recruitment positions from the central pool at any given time (PhD or Postdoc). In addition, the participating faculties must, at all times together, provide two recruitment positions to the center.

- Applications to the Centres for Environment-friendly Energy Research (FME) must be approved by the Rector prior to submission.
- In the event of acceptance of a ccordinator project, NMBU offers 0,5 MNOK per annum in cash.
- In the event of acceptance of a ccordinator project, NMBU offers three recruitment position from the central pool at any given time (PhD or post doctor). In addition, the participating faculties must, at all times together, provide two recruitment positions to the center.

INFRASTRUCTURE: National Financing Initiative for Reseach Infrastructure
- NMBU offer funds up to appx. 100 000 NOK, to be used for external consultants, workshops, buy-out of time spent with applications etc. Application may be sent to Solveig Fossum-Raunehaug in the Research Support Office.
- Applications for INFRASTRUCTURE must be approved by the Rector prior to submission.

Large-scale Interdisciplinary Researcher Project (Fellesløft IV, former FRIPRO):
- NMBU offers central funds for application development (up to appx. 100 000 NOK), to be used for external consultants, workshops, buy-out of time spent with application, etc.
- Applications for Fellesløft IV must be approved by the Rector prior to submission.
- In the event of acceptance of a coordinator project, NMBU offers recruitment position(s) from the central pool (PhD or post doc).

EU funded projects:
- Assistance in the application process for applications to the EU.
- NMBU provides assistance from the EU team (EU Advisers, EU Project Controller and Legal Adviser), external consultancy and financial support (Project Establishment Support (PES)) for the development of applications.
- Applications to Horizon 2020 or other European funding sources must be approved by the Head of Department before submission. If the budget covers multiple departments or exceeds the department's own budget, the application must be approved by the Director of Research or the University Director.
- Upon acceptance of Horizon Europe multipartner coordinator projects and ERC fellowships, NMBU will offer recruitment posts (PhD or post doctor).
- In the operating phase, the EU Project Controller may assist the departments with financial reporting.
