Affordable Accommodation for PhD Candidates
We are pleased to offer a special, budget-friendly accommodation option exclusively for PhD candidates attending the conference.
Enjoy a truly Norwegian experience by staying in a charming cabin (Kinnsåsen) in the woods, located approximately 3 km from campus and close to the beautiful lake Årungen. This is a unique opportunity to connect with peers, share memorable moments, and experience life close to nature.

From Sunday, 9 May (15:00) to Saturday, 15 May (11:00)
Accommodation Options
- Option A: Bed in a shared 4-person bedroom – 2700 NOK for the full stay
- Option B: Bring your own tent, hammock or air mattress and camp on the premises – 1000 NOK for the full stay
What to Expect
- A simple but cozy cabin setting with basic facilities
- Access to a kitchen and an outdoor barbecue area (no food is provided)

Important Information
- Please bring your own bed linen or sleeping bag
- For those using the camping option, you must bring your own tent, hammock or air mattress and everything else you need. Campers are welcome to use the cabin’s facilities (kitchen and bathroom), and in case of bad weather, mattresses can be placed in the living room.
- The cabin must be left clean and tidy upon departure
- There is no nearby public transport; the walk to campus takes approximately 30–40 minutes
- No food is provided in the cabin; however, you can conveniently arrange grocery delivery through the Norwegian online supermarket ODA.
Booking
Accommodation can be booked as part of the conference registration (that will open early 2027). Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
