The Writing Center offers free guidance in academic writing for bachelors, masters, and PhD students at NMBU. Friendly and well-trained peer writing advisors are available to help you throughout the writing process, from note-taking and outlining all the way to final revisions. 

Book a consultation below (maximum one consultation per day, and you may book up to two weeks in advance). Choose the type of consultation that best suits your situation.

Digital consultation are also available through Microsoft Teams. If you prefer this option, make sure to choose digital consultation. You are also welcome to drop by the Writing Centre during office hours, and we will assist you if we are available.

      Diana Huynh (NOR/ENG)

      Finya has a bachelor’s degree in International Environment and Development Studies from NMBU and is now

      Diana Huynh is a second year PhD Fellow at the Faculty of Landscape and Society (LANDSAM) at NMBU. She is an urban planner, passionate about the ways in which we shape and sustain the built, environmental and social quality of cities, regions and just communities. Diana enjoys working collaboratively with students at bachelor and graduate levels and is available for tutoring in both English and Norwegian.

      Bjørge Bondevik (NOR/ENG)

      Bjørge is in his second year of a PhD program at the School of Economics and Business. His research focuses on the livelihoods of coffee farmers in Timor-Leste, and how different sustainability projects and certification schemes affect farmers’ long-term livelihood strategies. He holds previous degrees in economics, business, and politics, and has also worked as a journalist for several media outlets. Academically, he employs both quantitative and qualitative methods, and he is able to assist bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD students in both English and Norwegian.

      We offer advice and guidance in statistics. You can get help with experimental design, data processing and analysis, as well as interpretation and presentation of results.

      All master students at NMBU are welcome to book an appointment.
