SITRAP has been granted two separate funding in June with other collaborators for “Tverrfaglig problemløsning i team” and “Dugnad for digital Innovasjon”. These initiatives are planned to commence in the fall semester. Article written the 26th of June 2019.
SITRAP will set up a support line for students, with the ambition to answer to the students' general challenges. A place outside the curriculum or student organisations that they can seek counsel or talk about every day, yet professional concerns. Based on some industry observations, it is also important to encourage entrepreneurial ventures and competitive spirit among the students. Observations made by SITRAP shows that the specific training here at LANDSAM gives them a special edge in traditional design competitions in Norway, 10th of May 2019.
What would the students ask for, if they had gotten the reigns to establish their own student lab and make demands towards better learning outcome? What measures does it take, small or big, to encourage interdisciplinarity across LANDSAM? These were some of the topics that were brought up in the student-led workshop by Martin Rygstad and Frida Sandbæk, the President and Vice President of the Student Council - 11th of April 2019.
Momentum, the Nordic biennale for contemporary art, has re-invited the esteemed Olafur Eliasson to recreate his famous 1998 installation,” Green River” in the city. Ellen Husaas of LANDSAM and a core member of SITRAP will be leading six lucky students at NMBU in this collaboration as of 3rd of April 2019.
What are the most crucial aspects in teamwork during studies? When do we collaborate well, and when does it take a turn for the worse? Hakket Bedre! is a casual talk hosted by SITRAP and the Learning Centre the 3rd of March 2019, on how to work together and across disciplines, subjects and fields of studies.
