Introduction Day for Noragric Students 2019

In August, the Department of International Environment and Development Studies welcomes new students 2019. Students from Noragric’s four study programmes in international relations, international environment and development will convene to learn about the department and the student democracy, and to meet staff and fellow students. Welcome!

The Department of international environment and development studies (Noragric) welcomes new students across our four study programs:
Bachelor in international environment and development studies (B-IEDS)
Master in International Relations (M-IR) Master in International Development (M-DS)
Master in International Environment Studies (M-IES)

9:00-9:45 Welcome to all new students by the Dean Eva Falleth at the Faculty for Landscape and Society, LANDSAM

Venue: BTB Auditorium Aastveit in Biotechnology building

After the welcome session student buddies and Noragric staff will walk together with the students to next venue in Samfunnet

 

10:00-14:00

Studying @ Noragric: What do you need to know?

Introduction to study advisors Jørn Kongsten Brevik and Anette Virtanen,  Noragric student democracy, and the student organisation “Globalis”.

11:45-12:30 Lunch

12:30-14:00 Panel on SDGs and Noragric study programs and research. Participants: Ida Arff Tarjem, Ola Westengen, John McNeish, Lars Kåre Grimsby.
