About us

Faculty of Biosciences contributes to shape future food production through basic as well as applied research on the production and use of plants, livestock and fish. We are approx. 200 scientific/technical employees plus 21 employees in the Faculty administration.

The faculty consists of the two departments Department of Animal and Aquaculture Sciences, IHA and the Department of Plant Science, IPV.
