12:15 - 12:45

Kathrine Frey Frøslie (associate professor at KBM) will talk about knitting and statistics. Wednesday March 30, 12.15 PM. in the library in the Veterinary Building.

When the corona pandemic hit the world, biostatistician Kathrine Frey Frøslie hit the public with her crocheted explanation of the R number. In her talk, Kathrine will tell the story of her popular science knitting blog “Statistrikk”. She will also unravel why she, who thinks knitting is so boring, has decided to spend all her leisure time knitting statistics and research. Tactile statistical samples will be available.

Pusterom are events where the library invites you to different cultural inputs. We serve coffee, tea and some snacks.

The events are free and open to all.
