Course contents:

The class gives an introduction to robotics and automation.

Robotics is introduced with focus on mobile and industrial robots. Kinematics and dynamics of single rigid bodies. Kinematics and Dynamics of robot manipulators. Control of mobile robots. Non-holonomic systems. Control of industrial robots. Implementation of controllers on real systems in the lab.

Learning outcome:
The students should be able to find the mathematical models of robotic systems and simulate these in f ex Matlab. Analysis of the robot equations. Implement controllers of physical systems.

Some lectures. Group work and lab work.

Lecturers are avilable on e-mail and telephone during the class period.
