This course starts in Fall or Spring parallel. This course has teaching/evaluation in Fall and Spring parallel, respectively.
Course frequency: Other. The course will not be given in the academic year 2018-19, otherwise it will only be given depending on capacity and demand.

The course content will usually be from the following fields: differential equations, integro-differential equations, integral equations. numerical mathematics, inverse problems, statistical methods, functional analysis, but may vary from year to year.
Students will learn applied mathematics and how it can be used to study selected problems in environmental sciences, biology and physics.
The teaching is given in the form of lectures, seminars and individual guidance.

Mandatory exercises throughout the term. Rules for approval of mandatory activity will be presented at the start of the term.
Oral exam based on a written project report submitted by the student ahead of the exam.
