The course content will usually be from the following fields: differential equations, integro-differential equations, integral equations. numerical mathematics, inverse problems, statistical methods, functional analysis, but may vary from year to year.
Learning outcome:
Students will learn applied mathematics and how it can be used to study selected problems in environmental sciences, biology and physics.

The teaching is given in the form of lectures, seminars and individual guidance.

Oral exam based on a written project report submitted by the student ahead of the exam.
