Course contents:
The course is a specialization in detailed design or management of cemeteries based on LAA307 same year. It is assumed large independense as a self-generating program topic/task in detailed design or management, some guidance is givn. The basis for the theory part is in LAA307. Specific theoretical specialization in LAA327 edefined in connection with the self-generated task.
Learning outcome:

The course is a practical application of theoretical knowledge from LAA307 that qualifies students to carry out detailed design of graveyards and / or draw up management plans for the burial sites at different levels.

Knowledge: Landscape Architect student can apply advanced knowledge of complex landscape architectural issues and using the profession's methods and theories related to the topic graveyards. Landscape Engineering student can see graveyards in Norwegian government, different forms of organization and management tasks attached to graveyards. Students can legislation relating to graveyards and can participate in the planning and management of cemeteries in a multicultural, cultural and contemporary perspective.

Skills: The student acquires skills in formulating scientific reasoning with reference to various sources and critical assessment of those. Further skills in observing and analyzing the local conditions as a basis for decisions. Steering own learning, take responsibility for their own creative process and professional development upon completion of a project.

General competence: Self obtain new knowledge and acquire new skills relevant to the planning and management of green areas in general and cemeteries in particular, and have critical look at their own work and reflect on the arguments and other consideration perspectives.

Learning activities:
Self programming,independent study, some supervision. 
Teaching support:
The student chooses his own literature approach to the project assignment.
Recommended prerequisites:
Mandatory activity:
Workshop(s), excursion and common valuation
Project work. Result is based on 4/5 handed in project work and 1/5 oral presentation, change can occur. Grade A-F.

The course will have a new course tutor, if it will i taught i the spring of 2021. Major and minor changes, in the couse's content, structure and teaching must be expected. 

The course cannot be taken independently of LAA307.  The LAA307/LAA327 taken as the B-LI version does not grant exemptions for the obl master's course in M-LA.

The course requires a minimum of 10 students, and if taken should be done so in addition to LAA307.

Internal sensor provides input for self-programmed project work. The external examiner assesses handed in project work and oral presentations.
