Course contents:
IMPULSE Inspirational&Motivational meetings in Planning, Design, Landscape& Society. IMPULS offers lectures every other week cycle with innovative representatives of the profession of topical theme in research and development.The lecture will vary from year to year,so they turn as news to students at all levels. Archtitectural critique and writing is a recurring theme within the series.
Learning outcome:
The course gives an overview over current debates and new trends within landscape design and planning. The students will get exercise in writing by chosing a theme to write about, relating it to the series of lectures and to a wider professional or disciplinary context.
Learning activities:
The lectures shall give inspiration and provide ideas and good examples, showing current trends and policies. knowledge, skills and general competence is acquired through critical assessment and written essays on lectures topics.the students critique each others texts.
