Masters degree students in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
The main purpose of this course is to give an introduction to entrepreneurship in practice by introducing the students to team work in business development for external entrepreneurs and partner. The curriculum will consist of concepts and methods for entrepreneurship and business modelling and the interplay between these and practice. The students shall acquire a depth knowledge within chosen topics in entrepreneurship and innovation, with main focus on customer oriented business planning and innovation strategies. The students shall apply this knowledge to make a business plan or a innovation strategy for an existing firm/ venture or business opportunity. The students shall through excursions learn about firms and other important institutions for innovation and entrepreneurship on and outside the university.
The course is based on active participation of the students and will focus on the team work as a central part, knowledge-building and PBL through assigments, testing/experiementation and presentations.
The student team will be assigned a mentor for the second year entreprenurial class, which will support the teams in the entreprenrial learning process.
The students will work out and sign a team contract which regulate the team assigment project. This contract has to be approved by the course teachers. If the contract is violated, the team has to arrange a meeting with their mentor and teacher. The teachers will decide further action with respect to further process and work.

Bachelors degree or equivalent.
Three written assignements and one oral assignement. Participating in excursions.
Evaluation of a semester thesis (business plan or innovation strategy) and individual oral examination. Written assignement including oral presentation in groups counts 40 %. The individual oral examination counts 60 %. No re-sit examinations in this course. All the compulsory assignments have to be completed and approved before the exam.
