Course contents:
The course targets feed production for domestic production animals (including fish and companion animals). It covers 7 main areas: 1) Feasibility study, design and construction of a feed plant. 2) Steam systems and use of steam as a raw material. 3) Maintenance systems in a feed plant. 4) Development of new technological solutions and feed products. 5) Feed analytics. 6) Risk management (ISO 9001-HACCP). 7) Health, environment and safety in feed production. 
Learning outcome:
The goal is to give insight into managing key processes of feed production, risk management and innovation.
Learning activities:
Lectures, demonstrations and exercises.
Will be posted in Fronter.
Recommended prerequisites:
Mandatory activity:
Mandatory exercises must have been approved before taking the exam. 
Final oral examination.
Nominal workload:
300 hours.

Special requirements in science.
