Primary emphasis will be on concersion of renewable energy resources, but also utilisation of fossil fuel with carbon capture and storage is included. Knowledge of environmental effects, energy efficiency and cost considerations concerning technologies for small- and large scale hydro power, wind power, biomass for energy and fuel, solar energy and heat pumps constitutes an important part of the course. Demand for energy services, both present situation, future development and energy efficiency means will be comprehensively discussed.
