Lectures and exercises will address the following issues: Economy - environment interactions, sustainable development, optimal management of renewable and non-renewable resources, pollution targets and pollution control, international environmental agreements.
Candidates should be able to apply economic theory to analyse environmental and natural resource management issues. These issues include: economy - environment interactions, sustainable development, optimal management of renewable and non-renewable resources, pollution targets and pollution control, and international environmental agreements.
The course will include lectures and exercises. Three compulsory exercises must be passed.

Type of course:
2 hours per week (12x2) lectures and 4x2 hours exercise review.
External examiner will control the quality of syllabus, questions for the final examination, and principles for the assessment of the examination answers.
