My PhD is related to the PoreCharge project, where we investigate the charging of porous electrodes used in supercapacitors. Our goal is to enhance the efficiency and storage capacity of these devices, which can be used both in energy storage and harvesting.

I am trained as a theoretical physicist and use both analytical and numerical methods to study partial differential equations governing the charging of supercapacitors. Specifically, I plan to use the finite element method and the finite volume method to study contiuum models of pore charging, as well as using MD simulations for verification.

I have a B. Sc. in environmental energy and a M. Sc. in quantum information theory, which has given me a solid foundation in mathematical description of physical systems.
