Associate professor in agroecology

I'm interested in agroecology and plant production covering a wide range of topics. I have worked with material flow analysis of nitrogen in the agro-food system, numerical modelling of cereal growth and N cycling, plant and soil responce to climate change, mineralization of plant residues and soil carbon, grass ecology, rock minerals,  crops ecophysiology and  with Nitrogen and phosphorus in plants. Presently I'm working most on the legacy effects of long-term crop rotation.

The read line trough my research and teaching  is healthy and environmentally friendly food production and consumption.

My last articles focus on crop residue related N2O-emissions soil organic matter decomposition:

Roots and other residues from leys with or without red clover: Quality and effects on N2O emission factors in a partly frozen soil following autumn ploughing. https://authors.elsevier.com/a/1euhzB8ccuhFs
