I am a molecular biologist and geneticist interested in the evolution and regulation of adaptive plant traits. Currently I am studying how temperate grasses adapted to frosty winters and short summers. The insights I gain in my basic science projects I strive to apply in grass breeding projects aiming to prepare forage crops for future climate challenges in the North.
