PhD degree – Trial Lecture and Public Defence
Ulrika Ridbäck, School of Landscape Architecture, Faculty of Landscape and Society, will defend her thesis 'On the Complexity of Dealing with Introduced Plants as Cultural Heritage: A historical multidisciplinary study of plants introduced to Norway from 1750 to 1900, exemplified with Abies alba Mill. (European silver fir) as a case species'.

Prescribed subject of the trial lecture:

"Issues, benefits and scope of a multi-disciplinary approach to research on green cultural heritage, seen in the perspective of future planning and management challenges"
