About the agreement
The agreement is bilateral. It is therefore possible for students from most institutes to apply.

Number of study places
Exchange students: Four places per semester, or two places for one year.


Language of teaching
Spanish and English.

Language requirements
Upper secondary school (norsk: videregående skole): Average grade of 4 in English.

Recognition of study credits
1 USIL credit equals 2 NMBU credits.

Tuition fees
Exchange students: No tuition fees.

Semester timing
Semester 1: August – December.
Semester 2: March - July.

Students must organize private accommodation. The university can make recommendations, but the student is responsible for securing housing. 

Student visa
After admission is granted, USIL starts the process for the "Student Exchange Visa" (SEV), and the university has the primarily responsibility for processing these applications. Once the visa is granted, the student must collect the visa at the closest Peruvian Embassy or Consulate General. The closest Consulate General  is located in Stockholm, but it is also possible to select another location on this map:
