Warsaw is the capital of Poland and the country's largest city with 1,7 million inhabitants. With as much as 66 institutions of higher education, Warsaw is a popular student city for Polish and international students. Warsaw University of Life Sciences is the oldest agricultural university in Poland, and the University's history dates back to 1816. The University consists of 11 faculties and about 25.000 students.

About the agreement
The agreement covers agriculture, environment and soil and water. However, it is also possible to take subjects within other academic fields.

Who can apply
For all Erasmus agreements it is necessary to have attained 60 credits on your current NMBU program before commencing on an exchange study abroad.

Number of study places 
Three places in total per year.

Language of teaching
English (all courses which are offered to international students).

The university offers free Polish language courses to international students

Semester timing 
Autumn semester: October - February.
Spring semester: February – June.

Tuition Fees
Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.

The university has a room guarantee for Erasmus students.
